PROMENADE CARAVAN PARK, HORNSEA, 2019
Channelling my New Topographic heroes in these strangely deserted minimalist villages. It makes sense to have homes you can move here.

Several road trips up the Yorkshire coast and photographic research for forthcoming film Road Ahead Closed (2020).
These images explore coastal erosion in Holderness and the disappearing communities and ghosts of war gradually succumbing to the rising sea. Holderness has been disappearing for centuries, many villages now lie beneath the waves
- but climate change seems to be accelerating this process. Haunted by the remains of war with Europe these vanishing beaches seem to have something important to say about Britain's troubled relationship with the continent
that lies across this expanding water - and something to say about Britain's strange amnesia about its own past too.
