FOURTH TRIPTYCH - FROM NATURAL TIME, 2018.

These are photograms of dandelion clocks made using natural light and the cyanotype process. This type of photography is about as far from the snapshot as you can get. Exposures can take hours depending on the light and these durations must be intuited rather than calculated, as weather conditions change. For philosopher Henri Bergson, time was always mobile and incomplete, not something that can really be quantified and measured, only felt. Bergson's 'duration' is ineffable and can only be revealed indirectly through images. >>NEXT
