MEMORIAL IN THE TREES from UNRESTING PLACE, 2019.
Waterloo lake has taken many lives in recent times - a child swimming on a hot day, a suicide in the trees, a lost man with dementia. The lake is very deep and dark, as it was formed from a disused quarry. Despite its tranquility, it feels a little unsafe and unwelcoming. This series of photographs attempts to explore these strange depths on a cold winter's afternoon in January - the month with the highest rate of suicides. >>NEXT
