A Womb with a View

These images attempt to capture time itself. The artist took two photographs for every single day of his daughter's first year. One of the room she grew up in, and one of the view from the window. We see the baby grow as the seasons change behind her, every photo is strangely different and the same. What is startling, however, is how much time appears lost, despite a record comprising hundreds of pictures. Here lies the the poetry, paradox and power of photography - what is absent tells us more than what is present - that all time is lost.
